Entire management is now new people with no idea what they are doing

Pros

- Some great talent in TRC / Dev - A good opportunity to learn about AppSec - Excellent work / life balance, flexible work schedule

Cons

- Pay is a total joke; Industry average for some job titles is twice as much - No truly experienced people due to point #1; Everyone who works in TRC pretty much started their security career at WhiteHat - Morale is at an all time low and upper management is not helping. They sacked the most experienced & respected people, took away our bonuses, and generally make large sweeping changes without so much as asking the opinion of the people who have been here longer than them. Expect instability.

Crash and Burn - Avoid at all costs!

Pros

-Snacks in the kitchen. -Hard to get fired if you work in the TRC (being lazy and bad at your job is perfectly acceptable) -Several really good people work there but most are trying to get out ASAP!

Cons

-Many changes in leadership. -Doesn't care to keep their talent. -Quality of employees and service is at an all time low. -Company morale is a joke. -HR is corrupt and doesn't protect their people. -Managers have a poor/lost sense of direction and doesn't understand the product. -Gives people severance packages to "shut them up" so they won't sue them for wrongful termination. -Company will retaliate if you make any complaints with HR. -Product is a mess. Too much can be said about this. -Company sells things they don't actually provide and then hires third party vendors and tries to pull shady business on the customers so they don't find out. -Has a ridiculous amount of politics for being such a small company. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away from this place!

Pros

Nice snacks, the new office is an upgrade, no more backflips

Cons

Stunning lack of innovation. The market has moved on to better tech stacks written in modern languages with built-in AI and machine learning. Growth has slowed as major customers leave for better tech or crowdsourcing. The management team has been built around yes-men (very few women) to the CEO with 0 to no security background. The last webinar by a Senior Product person on stats was a joke with no content or credibility. CEO has a complete lack of self-awareness. Talking constantly and being loud does not mean you know what you are saying.
