This is a company that failed to transition from a startup to a successful business. The whole company is horribly mismanaged with nunerous layers of management. Some of the "teams" in this company consist of 1 employee and a manager...or just the manager. Promotions are given based on who you know instead of how well you do your job.
There is no incentive for employees to work hard because there is no room for growth. There are also no real raises. My last year there I was making 25k below the market average and was told that even though I was a top performer I could only expect a 2-5% raise at most. Additionally, the people who just do the bare minimum are rewarded the same as those who work hard.
Finally, the whole company is sales focused. The only thing that was ever talked about were the sales numbers, and the only people to really get recognized were the sales reps. The technology of the company is woefully outdated, the "hacker army" has lost all of it's talent and has been outsourced to Ireland where people are undertrained before being throw at the workload. Over the last year there has been a mass exodus. I have seen several long-time, knowledgable employees leave both before and after me. The losses have been at every level, including several senior and C-level people. Every one who could get out has, because WhiteHat is a sinking ship.
