Lack of Diversity

Pros

Very talented staff. Opportuntiy to work withing multiple disciplines and functions

Cons

Major lack of diversity in regards to women and minorities. Also show bias toward recruiting engineers from MI abbreviated by only recuiting from UofM and MTech. Promotions seemed to based on good ole boy network instead of performance. If you do play golf, basketball or drink during prior at lunch and after work with the boys you will not be visible to promotions

Pros

Great pay, benefits and some good peers to work with.

Cons

Horrible management. They treat staff as if we aren’t people. All employees were just numbers in the system. I saw many people who got harassed by other employees and/or supervisors and HR did not handle the situation well at all to say the least. They have what is known as the “good ole boys club”. If you do not belong or fit in to the “club”, you will NOT succeed at Williams International. After 6 years of employment, I was extremely pleased to give my 2 week notice and leave Williams International.

Very challenging work environment, good employees, good equipment, good benefits.

Cons

Management lackluster, hiring has been nepotistic and unorganized. Management does not listen to the seasoned workers on hiring choices. Bullying and harasment a norm.
