* Everyone I work with is supportive, positive, funny, and easy to get along with. Management listens to their employees, and actually changes their decisions based on feedback. * Upper management is the most honest and transparent upper management I've ever seen. As an individual contributor, you have a good idea of how the company is doing, even the parts where it struggles. They don't share everything, of course (I don't see how you could effectively run a company while sharing absolutely everything), but all essential information is there. * Pay is very competitive. * Management cares very much about work/life balance. Working overtime does happen occasionally, but it is considered a last resort, and is quite rare (maybe once or twice a year).

Cons

Your experience as an employee is a substantially shaped by the clients you work with. If you are assigned a good client, it will be great. If your client is a hot mess, well, it can be a struggle. It is part of WT's shtick to improve the processes of its clients, so it almost always gets better. But when you're in the part where it hasn't gotten better yet, it's sometimes not much fun.

Pros

I can’t say enough good things about WillowTree. In the time I have been here the company has been through lots of good times and some bad (of course, it was bad for everybody then, in March 2020), so I have gotten to see how the leadership acts in all kinds of situations, and I have been incredibly impressed. No firings when things looked bleak, just a small reduction in salary across the board (which has since been reimbursed) and the top guys even went without salary for a while! And since that time, things have more than recovered and I am very excited to be a part of a fast growing and successful company.

Cons

Pay seems to be a little lower than our competitors. Of course, most of them are located in much more expensive locales, but It would also be nice to live in New York or Seattle!

Pros

This is a place that genuinely cares about it's employees. I really don't have anything but good things to say. The company culture/core values are truly visible in day-to-day work - they aren't just said as empty corporate platitudes. Tobias is an incredibly transparent CEO and it's clear that he takes all employee wishes into very careful consideration. The direction the company is headed in is also pretty exciting. Things are looking bright and I don't see myself leaving any time soon.

Cons

Salaries could be a tad bit higher.
