      Meeting some good CNAs that care

      Cons

      The LVNs can be good to you, but they will sink you if it comes down to a screw up they did. They blame the CNA to get out of it. The owner of the facility only cares about the money, not the patients. High turn over in staff Constant call outs and under staffing leading the CNAs to calling people in when its not their job its the owners niece. Obvious favoritism over the robots that dont care about their patients but stick around. They don't care about you whatsoever. You're disposable.

      Pros

      Pretty easy work, great for new grads that need a job in the field like I did. Repetitive so you get a lot of trach care experience on your resume.

      Cons

      Poor management that doesn’t take care of employees, poor pay, not 12 hour shift as advertised, they do 8 hour shifts. dirty facility, understaffing affects patient care, some went days with no shower, in the 6 months I was there I saw bed bugs, cockroaches, and scabies outbreak. Didn’t follow state laws on having 2 RTs on floor at all times.

      Pros

      Good Medical Directors Friendly supportive staff

      Cons

      Revolving door for nurses, social workers - management needs to listen to staff. No upward mobility available, small branch of a corporate company. Hired for specific locations, spent four hours a day driving several days a week to other areas. Administration does not walk with truth.
