Pros

Good pay, good opportunities, supportive, encouraging.

Cons

Isolating with virtual teams. Software utilized is buggy sometimes. Not a ton of room to move up. Expensive insurance- though they give incentives to help with that.

Thank you for your feedback. We are so glad to hear about your positive experiences at WorkCare. It's unfortunate to hear that you experience a lack of communication and feeling of isolation. We have made improvements to our company-wide communication tools such as a company intranet site highlighting company news and employee recognition, a monthly HR newsletter and virtual HR update meetings. If you have any suggestions on how we can continue improving our communication, please share them with the HR team. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to continue to improve our company.

Pros

Working from home remote. Provided all needed equipment. Pay started right where I was at the hospital so I didn't lose any money by switching. Less stress and its not life or death if we are short staffed. Management is pretty decent, no where near as bad as some of the places I have worked. Bonus structures and raises, which I have never had at any hospital. Opportunities to move to other departments within 6 months of hire.

Cons

Pay could be better, no really a huge con... just would be nice considering having to meet metrics and auditing requirements for triage. Since the increase in employers there is way more information to know about the companies and makes it more of a challenge to get good scores and not miss anything. Working 8 hour days, but still having to work weekends and holidays. Would prefer 10-12 hr scheduling to allow for more days off.
