Pros

Everyone pretended to be perky and bubbly which was nice

Cons

This company is run by some managers who are female and if you're male watch out. If you're wet behind the ears straight from college they will take you. So do apply if you want to be indoctrinated into a cult like company, that has book club that teaches you how not to whine and blame your employer, ever. They will coddle and mentor females and leave the men out. They are very very resistant to change, which I why I had to leave. My expertise fell to the wayside because I was older than 21 and I knew too much. Also, don't ask to many questions that show just how stupid they are, they hate being called out. I was so excited to start there. Work life balance is for upper management not for new hires. HR was good every other department was not. By the time I left, I was demoralized, had mental health issues and was just happy to GO! Apply at your own risk, over 23 years old don't waste your time. You may be thinking you will start your career at WorkWave but its a very cult like environment. If you're ok being under these ladies' thumb, you may work a while here. It's not for me, thanks! I won't be put in a box by folks who don't know what they're doing. They replace people like changing clothes.

I'm very sorry to hear this, as it certainly doesn't align with our company values or the expectations of our teams. We do wish you had shared your concerns while you were an active employee either with your manager, HR, on our anonymous surveys or your exit interview so that we could have addressed them in a collaborative and supportive manner - especially since we've not received feedback like this from others in the past. We wish you all the best in the future.

Pros

Good work / life balance, laid back environment, casual dress, most major holidays off, you have the ability to work from home

Cons

The place is full of cliques. They rather higher people from outside than use the talented individuals they already have working there. They make you feel like it is a place you can build a career but there appears to be no upwards mobility. Not really sure that upper management really knows how the people are treated by middle management. If you care and speak up you may get a target placed on you. The free lunch isn't really free since you have to work while you eat it. We do these anonymous surveys where they use your feedback to make the place better but lately instead of going over the results they go over them in a one on one setting where it feels like they are trying to see who said what. The few do 80 percent of the work while the others skate by and get all the praise. The ones thy do the work don't get the promotions though. The raises if you get one are small and for all the hard work you do you don't even get year end bonuses. We used to feel like a family but now it's more like we are replaceable numbers.

Advancement opportunities are indeed available to those that work hard and embrace our core values. In fact, we had over 12 employees do just that in the last quarter alone! We are beyond proud and grateful for the efforts of all of our WorkWavers all over the world, and are sorry to hear you haven't had the same positive experience as so many others. To avoid feeling like a number, I encourage you to not act like a number - but instead talk to our VP of Talent directly so that we can understand your unique situation and offer support and guidance.

Pros

Really only the PTO and holidays

Cons

Company continuously screwed over their clients and are now screwing over previous employees. WorkWave has 0 ethics whatsoever. I would not recommend working here nor using their software either. Oh they also slashed OTE in half after 6 months! Great company all around!

I'm very sorry to this feedback - as it certainly doesn't align with our core values or reflect the care and attention that everyone at WorkWave puts into making sure our customers and coworkers are always treated fairly. We wish you all the best in your next position.
