Hello, and thank you for your feedback. While we did go through layoffs in June that were a direct result of the DEA’s proposed new rules, we know this still does leave lasting marks on our former employees who were affected. To be clear, these layoffs referenced here were completed in June 2023 and no more layoffs are anticipated. Workit did not replace these roles, and it is categorically not true that these reduced roles were replaced with new staff after that layoff. In terms of counseling being removed, we’d like to address this concern as well. Workit Health transitioned its Behavioral Health model of care from individual sessions to group based intervention. Behavioral health services, although a different modality, increased the number of offerings for members to connect with a counselor. It is incorrect that we do not offer counseling, and behavioral health, generally to our members. We know how important BH services are, and agree with you they should – and will – continue to be a part of our model of care. Thank you again for your feedback, and the opportunity for us to clarify our internal processes. If you’d like to discuss further, please feel free to get in touch with me directly at sirvine@workithealth.com. If not, then I continue to wish you the best in your new role! Warmly, Sara Irvine VP, People & Culture

Pros

Experience, kind clients, easy to navigate

Cons

Management has caused this company to fall apart. I started this job several years ago and enjoyed my time there. I was helping clients for most of my time there. Then we began laying people off but hiring other positions who were not right for the company. At the end of my time there it felt like they were doing it just for money and not for the clients we were supporting. Shortly after I left, counseling was removed as an option for our clients, which was a big selling point for clients and then they were left in the dust and counselors were left with paperwork instead of supporting clients.

We have created new jobs in November and December, as we grow again. In terms of any changes for the clients, I'm sorry to hear your previous experience in June wasn't a strong one. We are proud that each iteration of our model of care goes through rigorous testing with members, with iterations only becoming permanent if members favor this change. I'd like to hear more about any previous changes you were unhappy with, though, as we're always open to improving both our employee and member experience. Warmest Culture I've Seen

Pros

-Fully remote -3 months paid parental leave -Lots of DEI and culture opportunities, including ERGs, book club and other social events -Good life balance with flexible schedules -Lots of change means a decent amount of growth opportunities faster than at bigger companies -Truly the warmest people I've ever worked with. People regularly publicly support each other, say "I appreciate you," and do other things that make the culture feel really friendly.

Cons

Not necessarily a con, but the company is growing and changing. It's grown in good/meaningful ways a lot in terms of product market fit and culture, and change isn't a bad thing.
