Terrible Management and no leadership—-Stay away from!!!!

Pros

Work from home and flexible

Cons

Executive Leadership getting paid huge wages but do not have a clue on how to run a company. Expects you to do work for 3 people. Does a big lay off and then turns around and hires after lay off. Does not care about their employees unless you are a recovering addict. Bonuses and incentives for executive employees and nothing for the under dogs doing the work.

Hello, and thank you for your feedback. I'm actually pleased to hear you'd like to see bonuses and more compensation for all workers, as we instated a bonus-for-all program Jan 1, 2024. In addition, we also implemented a pay for performance model in February 2024 so raises and promotions were strictly merit based. If you'd like to talk about these programs in more detail or share more feedback, please don't hesitate to contact me at sirvine@workithealth.com. All the best, Sara Shapiro VP, People & Culture

Pros

work from home, meaningful work

Cons

quantity over quality. lack of behavioral health, lack of staff functioning to assist pts to navigate health care system. lack of staff effective at providing the minimal support necessary for providers. CEO and organization administrators congratulate themselves for saving lives at every meeting, while disregarding what providers need to provide good care. when they acknowledge a change that they are willing to make that would support providers to provide better care, they drag their feet and months go by without progress or update. But they do always manage to emphasize how many lives administration is saving.

Hello, Thank you for submitting your feedback. We have a full team of behavioral health providers and medical assistants to assist the provider team, and they're highly trained in support. I would like to hear more about what could be done differently, as we've heard no concerns about staff wanting more support. I'd enjoy getting to help you further with suggestions, and I take this feedback of desired support seriously. If you'd like to share, please send me an email at sirvine@workithealth.com. Workit continues to be incredibly grateful for all staff, especially frontline staff. I'm sorry this wasn't your experience, and I'll continue to monitor for any way that we can underscore this gratitude with public recognition. Warmly, Sara Irvine VP, People & Culture

Zero Stability…a sinking ship

Pros

The patients were the best part of this job. They needed and wanted help, and were truly appreciative of the care. The compensation was good while it lasted

Cons

In the 1.5 years I was employed at Workit Health, there were three different rounds of lay-offs. I lucked out in the first two, but the third round got me when they shut down 15 of their 20 operating states. And yet they continued to hire more people and then lay them off. The management team has zero knowledge of how to run a business. One minute they’re talking to you about advancement and the next giving you a notice of lay off. And Seniority means nothing… they will lay off people who have been there the longest and keep people who were just hired and are gone on maternity leave. I would only advise working here if you have a strong back-up job option that is available on a moments notice.

Hello, Thank you for your thoughts here, both your kind words about our patients and also guidance on opportunities for improvement. Though we've seen many changes this year relating to the DEA's proposed controlled substance rules that impact our core business, I appreciate how frustrating, confusing and emotional a layoff still feels. We felt it was important to provide employees impacted by this layoff with a notice period of 8 weeks, plus a severance package thereafter, as a show of gratitude for their service. I hope you'll accept my gratitude, too, for your service at Workit. We remain confident in Workit's future success, and will certainly take your feedback to heart as we continue to navigate the DEA's proposed rules in a way that works for our employees and patients.
