Xactly has a great product thanks to the discipline of research and deeper market understanding.It has a lovely bunch of very capable people in the san jose office and the culture can be called truly great.Opportunities are plenty and everybody stretches to achieve challenging goals in a very competitive market.

Cons

The level of gossip and fear-mongering on the floor post vista acquisition is appalling.Most of the attrition is frankly due to some highly vocal people who propagate fear and doubt in the minds of people who are already in doubt.This happens more frequently in the Bangalore office.It gets very uncomfortable to hear people talk about projects closing down even though the management has not conveyed anything of that sort.

Cons

Shift in culture is currently happening with the acquisition by Vista Equity. The people at Xactly in leadership roles are having to pivot a bit based on the Vista approach, but that's not on them personally. They will see more attrition as they switch over to the Vista way of doing business, but that's sorta normal in this type of scenario.

Pros

Great people and good product/positioning in the marketplace. Challenging product and customer to sell to. You will learn a lot about yourself in a short period of time and develop skills that will make you successful in business and in life.

Cons

As an employee, it will only take you a month or 2 to notice revolving door effect here - attrition is very high. Simply put, the majority isn't treated well. Management leads by fear, shame, and negativity. There is a high amount of favoritism happening across all teams and levels of the sales organization. You can work as hard as you want, but if you aren't on management's "good side", then good luck making progress in your career. Compensation is below market value and fails to keep up with the aggressive cost of living in Denver. Don't waste your time, the grass is greener!!!
