Pros

Schedule Flexibility. They will work with your schedule but that is about it. If you work in outside of the statements department, work is actually okay. If you get sucked into statements (ASA,SA,SRS), do your best to get out. Cannot think of any other pros other.

Cons

Management - The worst. Favoritism all the time. No leadership at all. Private and personel information is shared with all. Several times after 5 PM the manager just chats with some employees about random topics. If you question managemnent, you will pretty much be fired under the excuse of "Performance Issues". Compensation - Depending on your role, you will be in a call center environment (they don't call it that though), or you will be responsible for revenue generation. All around the three positions, the pay does not deviate. Advancement - None. If you are looking for a paycheck, this is the perfect job. If you are looking to advance, do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else. You will waste time and effort. Managers play favorites and advancement is based on how you are liked, not the performance. Performance - Performance is measured by your ability to achieve a bonus. This is also luck based. If you work in a different department rather than statements, you will enjoy Apex. If you end up in statements, after a few months, you will be looking for a new job. The HUGE turnover rate displays this.

Pros

The top management that I met were nice, friendly people that took the time to chat with a new hire. Plus, the receptionist, Kathy, and Veronika in IT were wonderful to work with, so they too deserve a lot of praise.

Cons

I left the company because they advertised the job under "Accounting Analyst" but it turned out to be more of a collections job. My daily duties turned out to be what I call a "professional nag" where I had to call companies to find credits for Apex client companies. I like to analyse numbers and solve problems, but I have no desire to be a collection agent. So I think the way they advertise the job as Accounting Analyst, or Accounts Payable Analyst is a bit shady. If you want people willing to be collection agents then advertise it as such. The other thing I did not like was that there was so much pressure on middle management to hit certain goals each month, that it turned those managers into pushy people with no sense of humor, or patience, for a new hire. Plus, the middle managers brought up the topic of religion at a company luncheon which is taboo where I come from. I was taught that everyone has a right to their own opinion, but you do not discuss certain topics in a work environment. People go to work to do something productive, and earn money, and should not have to listen to discussions about religious beliefs, or politics, in order to fit into a group.

Pros

Cross-Industry exposure and the portal product is great.

Cons

Insane work hours with no respect for personal time. Tools are archaic for project management and no willingness to change. No personal development. Lack of accountability of director and VP level.
