Pros

Fun to work with jewelry and be able to use creativity to display. Staff in stores good to work with.

Cons

directions always changing, contradicting instructions from day to day. unreasonable requests in time available. Has become another greedy corporation, over past year has cut out drive time and admin time, then commission and recently cut hours to do job by a third. Promotions are promised, used like carrots to get extra work out of us, never happen.Management has no real idea of what job entails, is only interested now in $. Has totally taken away our incentive and crushed our morale, and added even more stress to our day.

Must be a different BL. Description does not match Beeline in Bay Area. We do not produce jewelry.

Pros

Great Vacation time for District Managers. Weekends Off which is rare in retail. Company Car which can also be used for personal needs as well w/Gas Card. New Upper Management- Hoping that they can assist in needed changes. A lot of growth happening with new partners, so job security is a little better now.

Cons

Expect to work 60+ hours/wk. The workload is extremely heavy! Worst raises in industry- You are lucky if you get 1-2% raise. (At all levels) Very low 401K match- They may or may not contribute at the end of the year based on how the company performs. Its usually no more than 1-2% match. Manager's oversee 100-300 stores. All managers have the same expectation- Visit all stores every quarter. So, if you visit 150, and have 300 stores, you are only shown as 50% Compliant. Where, the manager with 100, could only see 75 stores, and will show up as 75% compliant. Doesn't make sense. Some managers are much more overworked than others. Very Fast Paced- Changes made on daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Almost impossible to keep up with. There is never time to catch up before the next change. Reporting is terrible- Everyone knows that these reports are just completely inaccurate. Yet, the company doesn't care and still holds people accountable to them, and it affects performance reviews and Bonuses. President doesn't believe in full time employees, and has eliminated all opportunities of growth for staff.

Pros

Staff at the locations you might service.

Cons

Salary doesn't nearly compensate for the amount of work expected for this job. Much of your time will be spent undoing what was done the week before as far as merchandising goes. The VM is changed constantly for no rhyme or reason and you're expected to just roll with it, execute it or be called out for not doing it 100% correctly. The level of expectations versus the salary is ridiculous. Those in managerial positions aren't held to same standards when merchandising and in fact do it wrong for some reason. There is a strangely high amount of nonsense taking place the past 18 months with a ridiculous amount of stress placed on the merchandisers. We are the face of the company, we represent YOU Beeline and we are the ones who feel the most cheated out of your current level of growth. Having been with this company as long as I have, there's a disturbing lack of compassion for employees. As your representatives, we are the most undervalued resource. None of our ideas, thoughts or insights matter and in fact are not encouraged. Again, I will reiterate the salary and "raise" offered after the amount of time working diligently and consistently, not to mention increasing sales for my stores was an insult.
