Pros

Excellent training and a brand new office to work at. Location off I-90 is easy to get to.

Cons

I saw some of our current employment ads on Craigslist, and they are very misleading. Being an agent at Efinancial is not a $100,000 a year job as advertised. There were some guys that used to make money like that but they were all forced out or quit. Realisticly its more like half of that, which is fine, but don't oversell it. The quotas are rough and there are many times when I feel pressured to offer a product that isn't the best for the client, but neccesary to keep my job. The accounting on how you get paid is also not as transparent as it should be, and I've seen agents with $300 paychecks that have no idea where their money went. Its hard for us employees to struggle when they see the high end cars the management drives parked in the garage. Some of the highest ranking managers are also related, so this only confounds the usual office politics. Since Efinancial is pretty stable, I'll stick around, until the economy rebounds...... certainly don't leave another job to come here!

Pros

Great training, access to management, good opportunity to make lots of money. Aliss is a great customer management system. Good team leaders.

Cons

They are trying to step into lead generation business and are taking good leads out of the hands of agents. Keep reselling same old, aged leads over and over. Often webinars turn into a beat down from management telling us to sell more or work more. They are not the "boss" of me. I do this business so I don't need to hear from someone like that on a weekly basis.

Pros

Nice building, no weekends mostly. Overtime is optional. Everything is very informal.

Cons

-No training. "Can you sell over the phone? Ok, now get out there" -Horrible pay. Only agents make money. This job by itself DOES NOT pay the bills. -Cut throat attitude. Almost no support. -Have to wait 6-7 mos. to be able to sell insurance. They put you on a trial period that goes on and on, depending on how many people you feed to the licensed agents. They basically wait until you quit.
