Pros

Young and enthusiastic staff with laid back atmosphere. Friendly collaborative environment.

Cons

Company doesn't generate the revenue needed to grow and has reached a plateau. There's just too many employees with idle time. Equal parts work and socializing is not a formula for success. Many take advantage of working from home and don't put in a full day's work. SPAC was created to take the company public for key people to cash out. Stock price has fallen off a cliff in just two months, currently trading at 1/3 of what it was the day it went public. Business model as it stands now isn't viable long term. Generally lazy atmosphere by a significant number of employees who take advantage of the system. Reduction of staff over the next two to three quarters is inevitable.

Poor management , Some new people join playing dirty politics , no growth , no stability. Even you are doing good work they will fire you any time without reason.

As a reminder, we have an open door policy and our leadership team is available to meet with you at any time to discuss your concerns. Springbig is a stable and growing organization. We are 148 people strong and counting! Springbig has mechanisms in place to manage performance and if needed, manage poor performers out of the organization. Managers review staff during their 30-60-90 day points and also perform annual performance reviews. Additionally, job descriptions exist for every position and we ensure that we hire people with relevant experience. Springbig has a 90 day “You fit/ We fit” period where we assess performance so that if an employee is underperforming they are given opportunities to improve. Regarding loyalty, employees are given opportunities to be promoted from within, provided they meet the qualifications of the role per the job description. This is an exciting time to be part of Springbig! If you have any specific concerns, please do not hesitate to contact anyone on the leadership team.
