REGEN Fiber celebrated the grand opening of its Fairfax, Iowa, production facility to recycle decommissioned wind turbine blades. Owned by Travero, a subsidiary of Alliant Energy, REGEN Fiber addresses a critical need in the wind industry. Rather than burning blades or burying them in landfills, REGEN Fiber’s innovative, all-mechanical process shreds blades, extracts usable components, and transforms them into fibers and additives for construction materials, like concrete and asphalt.

The Home Construction Cooperative is a collaboration between the Green County Development Corporation and Monroe School District. They help local high school and college students gain valuable skills and exposure to trade jobs as they build and rehab affordable homes. Once complete, these homes will help homeless and low-income individuals and families in need of housing. We’re proud to partner with the Home Construction Cooperative as part of our efforts to advance workforce readiness.
