"Our team is focused on creating environments and experiences that enrich others. We intentionally design our office spaces to foster collaboration, build community, and reflect the genuine care and connection that is central to who we are. We also ensure there's plenty of opportunity for fun – whether it's a friendly game of ping-pong on our rooftop terrace or grabbing a hula-hoop near the dining area.” -Allie Barnes, Campus Planning

“I sometimes hear stories about people exploring new AI technologies with no destination in mind, and that hurts my spirit. At Chick-fil-A, Inc., there are an incredible array of chances to explore new technologies. Internally, we greatly value the entrepreneurial mindset. But here, you get to do the exploring while also having tremendous business impact. We stay true to who we are and our why as a company. We always ask, ‘Is this a use case that will support Chick-fil-A Owner-Operators and, ultimately, the customers that they serve?’ It’s really exciting to work at a company where everyone is pulling toward the same goal and has the resources to explore new technologies to get there.” — Korri Jones, Automation and AI Transformation Team

“I went to college and started studying software development, but due to financial reasons, I was only able to finish the first two years. I started working at a manufacturing plant 12 hours a day. Initially, I was supposed to be there just to save up some money. But then one thing turned into another. I couldn’t figure out how to attend school while working rotating factory shifts, and I couldn’t figure out how to save enough to quit my job. I knew that I wasn’t using my full potential, and it bothered me. I kept saving up money, and after 10 years on the factory floor, I quit my job and enrolled in school. Being afraid to take that leap and leave my job, it lit a fire under me. I was working with a vengeance. I wanted to show the capabilities that I knew I had as an individual. I made dean's list every semester. I was determined to crush it — and to learn everything I needed to learn so I could land my IT job. I treated success as a non-negotiable. I found an IT internship at a care facility for individuals who are unable to care for themselves. I felt like I was serving a bigger purpose. Slowly, it dawned on me that I loved being in a role where I was helping people." — Walter Poole Jr., Restaurant Technology Support Team, Chick-fil-A Support Now Click the link below to read more!

“For nearly 20 years now, I have worked for Chick-fil-A, Inc., and I’ve seen a lot of exciting growth within the organization. But what hasn’t changed is the intentional focus on prioritizing relationships while driving results for the business. I started as a summer intern when I was in college at Auburn University. But even when I later joined the Staff full-time, Chick-fil-A, Inc. still felt like a very small company. We didn't have a lot of systems or operations in place like we do now. Everyone knew who managed which project, and we would pick up the phone and call each other if we needed something. Over the past two decades, I’ve watched this business expand, advance and mature. Over the years, each leader’s focus has remained consistent with our organization’s purpose and culture of care. After 16 years working in Marketing, and now 3 years in Restaurant Development, I have continued to fall in love with Chick-fil-A, Inc. – with the culture, the work we get to do, and most of all, the people. And I’m committed to carrying that culture forward into the future in both the work that I do and the ways that I lead.” - Amy Wells, Design, Restaurant Development

Each year, the Chick-fil-A, Inc. Digital Transformation & Technology department (also known as DTT), hosts their annual Thanksgiving celebration – a unique moment to gather together and foster a spirit of gratitude, restoration, and encouragement. Hear what one DTT staffer had to say about his experience: "Techsgiving is DTT’s final department-wide gathering of the year. During the event, DTT Staff come together to connect, to learn, and to reflect on the year. The event features keynote speakers, an expo of concepts & prototypes from DTT’s semi-annual hackathon experience, and a few helpings of fun thrown in throughout the day. I’m so thankful to work for a company that cares for and invests in its Staff, and I consider it a privilege to work alongside some of the best digital professionals in the industry." - R. Bennett Tatgenhorst, DTT Effectiveness and Operations

"I started my career as an accountant who was constantly bursting with ideas. I have an entrepreneurial spirit, so I always thought that working a nine-to-five job would be constrictive for someone like me. But working at Chick-fil-A, Inc., I quickly found that the creative thinking that I care so deeply about is woven into the very DNA of this company. My work in Financial Services required heads-down time with spreadsheets and data, but I also had the opportunity to work through complex situations. My focus was Non-traditional Restaurant Strategy – including our Food Truck Fleet – and I loved the out-of-the-box thinking that it required. But outside of my everyday job, I found another incredible way to live out my passion for ideas here at the Chick-fil-A Corporate Support Center – as an Innovation Ambassador! After I started my accounting role, I soon discovered the Innovation department, and I was all in. I completed training on Chick-fil-A’s innovation process and team building facilitation, and now I am leading innovation training throughout a variety of departments in our corporate offices. Innovation doesn’t always have to mean new product development or transforming ways of working. It can be as simple as bringing a “beginner’s mindset” to a new task or showing genuine curiosity by asking exploratory questions. At the end of the day, I’m glad to be working for a company that values new ideas and encourages curiosity – in both big and small ways."

“At the Chick-fil-A Corporate Support Center, we have an approach to hybrid work that we call Flexible Future. Staff are asked to meet in-person for what we call cornerstones, which help us prioritize coming together for connections and collaborations that matter. We’re otherwise trusted with the flexibility to work where it’s best for the day, whether that’s at home or in the office. We designed our campus with the same mindset — to enable connections and provide flexibility. We know each person works differently, and we have a variety of working spaces and meeting room types to support the way you work best.” — Layne Hellman, Campus Strategy Support Team

“Chick-fil-A, Inc. has truly ‘cracked the code’ when it comes to caring for their Staff. I noticed it on the first day I ever walked into the Chick-fil-A Corporate Support Center for my accounting job interview. The kindness of even the receptionist was enough to convince me that Chick-fil-A, Inc. was the right company for me – but that’s only part of what has kept me here for over a decade. I’m an introverted person by nature, but throughout my career here, I have been amazed at how much I have grown because of the investment of leaders who saw my potential. I started in the Financial Services department as an Accountant, and through incremental growth, I have grown into a Senior Accountant role, and most recently Lead Accountant. I remember a former leader at Chick-fil-A, Inc. who said something that always stuck with me. He said that the position that I grow into in my future career might not even exist yet. That’s exciting to me, and it just means that I can be on the lookout for new opportunities and be ready to raise my hand. Everything at Chick-fil-A, Inc. is anchored in the core value of ‘We’re Here to Serve’ – including growth opportunities. I love the work, the people and the growth opportunities, but what keeps me here the most is the genuine culture of care.” - Meredith Ford, Lead Accountant
