In the event of a catastrophic failure, a natural disaster, or even a terrorist attack, airports are extremely vital parts of the region’s infrastructure for obtaining urgently needed supplies and assistance. O’Hare Airport has made a major investment to ensure they have reliable systems in place. Epstein is pleased to be providing engineering and architectural services required to replace and design O’Hare’s emergency and standby power system generators. Not only will the equipment be newer and more reliable, it will provide O'Hare with more capability, as well.

Epstein was pleased to attend Landmarks Illinois’ 2019 Real Estate and Building Industries Council (RBIC) event, which is always held at a recently developed building. This year, the ceremony took place at Oxford Capital Group’s rehabilitated Essex Inn and its new residential tower Essex on the Park. We were particularly excited about this venue, as Epstein originally designed the 14-story hotel in the 1950s. It was wonderful, and greatly appreciated, to hear RBIC and Oxford Capital Group acknowledge our timeless, mid-century modern design. Congratulations to all on Essex on the Park!
