Our team enjoyed a networking lunch in Indianapolis with faculty and students from the Virginia Tech Property Management and University of Georgia Housing Management programs. Our industry is poised for remarkable growth, and we greatly appreciate our university partners who are investing in the next generation of talent!

The Bloomfield Hills and Flint Portfolio Team launched Q4 with a bang at our 2024 Leadership Conference! This year’s sports-themed event was all about elevating Customer Service and Leadership skills. Over two action-packed days, we hosted 16 dynamic sessions—9 general sessions and 7 focused breakout sessions tailored for Property Managers, Associate/Assistant Property Managers, and Maintenance/Facilities Supervisors. We were honored to have national speakers and authors, including Ben Schierbeek, Dale Smith Thomas, Brian Carter, Zak Purdon, and the legendary Detroit Pistons “Bad Boy” Bill Laimbeer, who delivered an unforgettable keynote! Team-building was a major highlight, with exciting competitions like team photo challenges, sports video creations, and pennant flag contests. Our final night at the M1 Concourse, an exhilarating 87-acre auto enthusiast venue, was unforgettable—complete with a live drumline, an awards ceremony, and a special appearance by our mascot, Eddie! What an incredible two days of learning, growth, and fun! We’re ready to finish the year strong and bring this momentum into 2025!

Last week, team members gathered in Merrillville, Indiana to celebrate the transition of Huntington Cove Apartments from Kalamazoo to the Indianapolis Portfolio! This luncheon fostered engagement among leadership and staff from Brickshire, Mallard Bay, Huntington Cove, Nuvo Flats, and the Indianapolis Regional Office. Thank you to all attendees for a fantastic start to a new chapter – excited to see what we accomplish together in the future!
