This past Wednesday, Heart + Paw hosted our first VITALS Academy Welcome and Kick Off Dinner to celebrate the 2023 veterinary graduates who chose to join us this summer as Associate Veterinarians. Members of our talent, operations, and implementation + integration teams, our Chief Executive and Chief Veterinary Officers, Partner Doctors and Center Directors joined together to welcome the new graduates. VITALS, which stands for Veterinarian Initiation Together Achieves Lasting Success, is our 16-week coach led onboarding program we created in 2022 to ensure new veterinarians transitioning from school to clinical practice have the supportive environment they need to grow and flourish in a hospital setting. We are proud that this program, which started with one doctor last year has grown to seven doctors in 2023, represents 10% of our total veterinarians and 25% of our 28 centers will welcome one of these talented, awesome veterinarians this summer! Congratulations to our newest veterinarian team members on their graduation! Thank you for choosing us - we look forward to having you as an important part of #heartandpaw and #petcarereimagined.
