Yesterday, we partnered with the South Carolina Aquarium to sweep the beach on Folly! We have two exciting organizational announcements to wrap up the week! Rob Taylor has been named the new President of Sonepar USA, effective September 1st. Rob has been with Sonepar since 2015 as our Central Region President. We are excited to have Rob move into this new role. Congratulations Rob!! Mike Dumas has been named COO of Capital Electric, effective July 9th. Capital Electric is Sonepar's operating company headquartered in Upper Marlboro, MD. The Charleston office participated in a 5K yesterday at Charles Towne Landing. This site was the first settlement in South Carolina establishing the Carolina colony. It is nestled around live oaks, parks, gardens and includes a zoo. The zoo is comprised of animal species that were indigenous to the Carolinas in the 1600's. All proceeds from the run benefited the historic property and the animals they have on-site. The turnout was fantastic and it has been great to see so many of our Sonepar locations getting out supporting great causes and healthy activities! #soneparusa #soneparusacares #20kfor20years #wellness
