Yesterday, Sonepar's Charleston office participated in Sonepar Cares at the local Ronald McDonald House of Charleston. They served soup, sandwiches and dessert to the local community. Way go to Sonepar! #SoneparUSACares #RonaldMcDonaldHouse #SoneparUSA

One of Sonepar USA's operating companies, Cooper Electric, located in the New York/New Jersey region, provided the lights to light up the famous Rockefeller Christmas Tree. They provided 5 miles or 50,000 multicolored energy efficient LED lights from their Linden branch! These LEDs will help save around 2,213 kwH per day. Way to go Cooper!

On Saturday August 12th, the Charleston, SC office participated in an event in partnership with the The Hootie and the Blowfish Foundation. This foundation supports hundreds of charities worldwide, donating over $1.8 million to date to multitudes of causes. Their support ranges from building community learning centers to outfitting school marching bands to simply providing educators with the tools they need to nurture children's talents and help them succeed. The Homegrown Roundup occurs each August to help prepare students for the upcoming school year. Each student receives a backpack full of donated school supplies, free dental and eye exams, and haircuts. Sonepar served over 600+ students donating pens and rulers. We even met Darius Rucker and got a signed autograph! Thanks to all our volunteers and executives for joining us over their weekend to give back!
