Meretta Heckman, Branch Manager I I’m thrilled to share that our Middleton Hills branch is officially undergoing renovations for a big refresh! 🎉 Being part of this transformation has been such a unique and rewarding experience, and I’m grateful for all the learning and growth along the way. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back and continue delivering exceptional member service when we reopen in July! In the meantime, you can visit our branch and check out our newly installed ITMs! hashtag#iwork4uwcu hashtag#middletonhills hashtag#refresh
Paul Kundert, President/CEO I’m pleased to share our 2025 Annual Report, a snapshot of activity at the credit union last year. As a member-owned cooperative, every decision, service and product is designed with our members in mind. We eliminated ACH, NSF and monthly checking fees. We continue to be an industry leader in capping overdraft fees to $5 per day because we believe our role in the community is to support, not penalize. We launched Rewards Checking last spring – a comprehensive account package offering valuable features like Early Payday – to provide simplified options and useful benefits to enhance members’ financial wellbeing. When our members succeed, our organization succeeds. Check out the Annual Report: https://lnkd.in/ghAkE67b hashtag#iwork4uwcu hashtag#creditunion hashtag#cooperative
Yesterday marked my third year attending our All Leadership Conference, and each year I walk away even more inspired than the last to do more. Jessica De Vicente, Branch Manager Connecting with leaders across our organization is truly empowering and continually reminds me that our success comes from our people as we push beyond boundaries year after year!👏🏽 hashtag#ALC2026 hashtag#iwork4uwcu
Matthew Coppens, Senior Financial Specialist UW Credit Union has once again been recognized for its commitment to workplace inclusion for a fourth consecutive year, earning a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2026 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The CEI is the nation’s leading benchmark for LGBTQ+ workplace equality, evaluating corporate policies and practices across areas such as nondiscrimination protections, employee benefits, inclusive culture and community engagement. With this latest recognition, UW Credit Union joins more than 500 organizations nationwide honored as Equality 100 leaders. UW Credit Union’s continued inclusion on the Equality 100 list underscores the value of intentional policies paired with a culture that supports them. As expectations and needs evolve, so does the work – guided by the understanding that inclusion strengthens teams, enhances collaboration, and helps the organization better serve members and communities. Paul Kundert, President/CEO I’ve always thought that declared success marks the beginning of decline, which is probably why talking about strong results makes me just a little uncomfortable. Still, it’s important to recognize the people behind them. 2025 was a good year for UW Credit Union because of the leadership team and staff who stayed focused, showed up for our members, and worked together to implement new member‑friendly features. I’m grateful for their work and how seriously they lean into our mission - something that tends to go hand in hand with a strong year. Our fourth‑quarter results are now available. Proud of the team, appreciative of the year, and very aware there’s more work to do. https://lnkd.in/gnsJCZqT hashtag#creditunion hashtag#Iwork4uwcu
Heather Wehling, Senior Financial Specialist We are ready to welcome back our Titans students at University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh for the Spring semester. As you return to campus don’t forget to stop by UW Credit Union inside the Reeve Union to win some free swag!
Jessica De Vicente, Branch Manager Just a few pictures to wrap up 2025! This year brought so much good, growth and learning. Thankful to work alongside some truly great people but most importantly thankful for my team for the work and dedication they show for our members and each other every single day. 2025 was good but 2026 will be even better!🎉 #iwork4uwcu
Tim Virnig, Senior Financial Specialist A great morning of UW Credit Union hosting the Middleton High School CAPs students for mock interviews. Very proud to be part of this partnership and building the next generation of leaders
Cailley Hammel-Bollow, Social Media Strategy A cool, uncommon workplace perk at UW Credit Union is the Volunteer Time Off program. Each year, all employees get 16 hours of paid time to support a cause we care about. This morning, I took advantage by spending a few hours at Toys for Tots. This year, students at 60 schools in Dane County benefitted from the Toys for Tots program. This morning, we worked on sorting toys and doing inventory on supply that is already being set aside for 2026! Shoutout to Emily for being my inventory partner today. 😊 hashtag#IWork4UWCU
Ava Finn, Social Media and Brand Marketing Intern I’m excited to share that I have accepted an extension of my Social Media and Brand Marketing internship with UW Credit Union through December 2026! I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue advancing my skills in this role and to further strengthen my collaboration with the Marketing and Product Division at UWCU. Reflecting on the last nine months, I’m incredibly thankful for the guidance of my leaders and the meaningful projects that have challenged me and built my skillset. Beyond the work itself, I want to highlight the credit union difference — a community centered mindset that has made my experience especially rewarding. I’ve had the privilege of participating in initiatives such as seed collection with the Clean Lakes Alliance and card making for individuals in need. This has reinforced how fulfilling it is to be part of an organization driven by purpose. I look forward to contributing to more projects, sharing new ideas and continuing to learn and grow in the months ahead!
