Benefits are offered to both part time and full time employees. I did not take advantage of the benefit plans.

Don't make enough money as it is to have it taken to pay for health insurance. If your part time there is no vacation or paid time off,you can work for a year or more and only get a couple hours or day of vacation time built up from what I understand.

The benefit is working with a great group of people and gaining the experience that will push me forward through my career. I can see myself staying at Dollar Tree for a while.

I got none of this as a part time employee. It was frustrating especially since I also received few works hoursl

As a part time worker there is no paid time off , no vacation time , no 401k, no perks for anyone who isn't a manager , no health insurance either.

The best things about the benefits package was getting really good insurance. The cost was very low. The bonuses were not too bad. You had the chance to get one every month but only if your sells were high enough. They had levels of bonus. Once you reached the highest level of bonus then you would get a very small percentage of sells off of that. Vacation time is a joke. Its almost impossible to go on vacation and once you do prepare to come back to a mad house unless you have really good asst. managers.

The worse thing is probably the fact that you have to pay even though you have insurance.
