The people make it a great place to work. Being mail-order, many tasks are very monotonous and long. Tasks are calling and non-calling. The workplace tends to divide itself by seniority. Overall there is little upper management communication, mostly downward and little upward. Personal supervisors are helpful, but upper management restricts them. The Pharmacists have a union, which does look-out for the good of the practice of pharmacy and Pharmacists. Paid CE is offered quarterly. They just went through a reduction in force in Columbus, Ohio. Last April '14 there were 240 RPh's, and today there are 101 RPh's, including 30 work-at-home. Because of seniority, everyone starts out at the same hourly wage. Pay raises are per union contract. You are paid the hours you work. Over-time and weekends are voluntary and paid at 1.5 times hourly over 40 hours completed by Friday.

The worst thing is that stock awards are essentially useless because of the base rates they adopt annually. Conversion or purchase is essentially a negative hit, or marginal spread at best. Health benefits are reasonable, but medical and Rx coverage is very tightly administrated--probably commonplace now with other companies.

For a pharmacy benefit management company the premiums are quite high. They should be able to offer better discounts for at least the prescription portion of the benifits if not all of medical and dental .

The health insurance is expensive with a lot of out of pocket costs and a high deductible
