We’re very sorry to hear that your start with ABS Kids has not been a positive experience. Our core belief is that taking excellent care of our providers is the best way to ensure excellent patient care for the children and families we serve. We’re very appreciative of all feedback about how we can improve, so that we can provide the best possible employment experience in ABA therapy.
We agree that all our communications with employees should be timely, accurate, clear, and consistent, and we will take your experiences to heart as we examine these issues. As we consider employee time off policies, we must balance several driving priorities: maintaining a culture of consistency and continuity as a key element of excellent patient care; employee experience; and the health and safety of our employees, patients and their families in the COVID era. Our COVID response care partner system, Accolade helps us to take conservative measures consistent with CDC guidance and they assist us with identifying if someone should cancel. Any cancellation they recommend is excused. We welcome employee feedback about how to balance patient care, employee experience and safety as we move forward with employee time off policies.
Finally, would you possibly be willing to share more details with us regarding two of your comments? Your review noted “misleading incentives/benefits” and “misleading…COVID procedures” that did not match your experience. We very much want to know more about exactly what you experienced regarding these comments so that we can address any gaps in communication or implementation of our policies. We would welcome further detail anonymously through our Compliance Hotline, found in Compliance Corner in the Virtual Office. We also welcome employee feedback through your direct supervisor or to any HR representative. We want to address all employee concerns and we thank you for your feedback.
