Pros

Great boss, benefits were pretty good with matching 401k, and good autonomy to make my own day. Few meetings vs the other teams, ability to sell all products residential and commercial.

Cons

They now credit check. Company is working towards 100% company leads going to authorized dealers and making corporate employees find their own business. Not much management support. Constant turn over with installers. They don't provide the service level being pitched to clients. Spend half the day begging the company to fix your deals. More expensive than the competition even for lower level systems. Gold team charges about 20% more for the exact same thing for both install and monthly rate. Wouldn't be so bad if they actually had the ability to provide the enhanced service they are selling but they can't do it if they even really wanted to. No advantage for buyers in the "Gold" branch vs Blue. They are driving a system that is better suited to an apt or small home regardless if it's a larger home that needs a different system. Billing is a constant screw up. The more clients you get, the more time in your day is spent trying to manage the problems. Get's old.

Soul crushing culture

Pros

If you are a manager or above, the annual bonuses are good. Benefits package and 401k are comparable with the marketplace.

Cons

Corporate politics was entirely too much interwoven into the culture at ADT. When ADT acquired Broadview in 2010, the environment in Irving, TX changed drastically, as if the soul of the collective campus was slowly crushed. Over 75% of employees moved on in subsequent years. It became very clear that the mothership in Florida was the only voice, and you either fell in line or you were insignificant. Don't work at ADT unless you work in Boca. I hope the spa, salon, etc. numbs you to being overworked and under appreciated... unless you play politics well, then more power to you.

Pros

Offers Full Time Employment Benefits are okay. Great Job If You Are Out of High School or College 6 Weeks Training

Cons

If you are forced to look for a second career, this is not it. Non-stop calls. Focus on quantity rather then quality. Not able to make friends, due to non-stop calls. Focus appears to be on Wall Street, rather than customer. Customers who do not know how their system works. Repetition ("Put in your code and press off. Do it second time!) The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
