Absolutely terrible executive leadership.

Pros

Good pay but man does it come at a cost

Cons

One zone president thinks he some brilliant leader but can only find sports analogies and claims solid leadership is provided. IQ challenged and stubborn is the worst combination. DO NOT WORK IN FLORIDA. All you will deal with is a lack of intellect driven by what appears to be synthetic testosterone. Don’t expect any training, mentor ship or understanding. Oh yeah, you will hear it said and will be expected to ‘turn the business around in 30 days’ despite the horrific ratings and reputation.

Pros

none- zip zilch nada. The only pro is when you leave

Cons

Hprrible management. Condescending, rude and degrading. No support from H R. Corporate doesnt care. Managers will talk about one employee with another, no training because theres" no time" and they have the audacity to nose through an employees personal space and HR and corporate excuse it. They should be ashamed.

Pros

A positive company culture has always been important to me. Wanted to work for a company where I could thrive and grow professionally and personally. When I first arrived, it was... somewhat sour. BUT NOW, the overall happiness and mood of the employees is incredible! I give credit to all our managers, staff, technicians and sales force who have reshaped ARS into what it is today. They have all embraced change, the additional training/development, transparency and have learned to work as a whole unit. We are not perfect yet, but what company is? I love going to work every day. I am surrounded by dedicated, humble and hard-working managers who value their teams They have increased encouraging feedback which in turn has created more enthusiasm and motivation. Our turn-over rate is the lowest it's been in years! I am proud of each one of our front-line technicians, who braved the exposure and overcame the many challenges of the COVID pandemic. Everyone stepped up, geared up and delivered exceptional service to our customers. We have an amazing team!

Cons

Drive Cam, communication from corporate on process (prefer to be proactive and not reactive), timekeeping app, mobile device platform.

Pros

People, hours, policies are all great. Everyone is treated the same and not shown favorites. Room for advancement and good training.

Cons

The software they use is not user friendly and can provide a lot of incorrect information so you spend a great deal of time correcting it before you can do a task.

Pros

Decent pay for an entry level job

Cons

Ok where do I start? You will work in a Home Depot with very little indication that you’re not a Home Depot employee. So be prepared to train yourself to learn how to work every single department if you plan on selling anything. Speaking of training, you will receive a day or two of training then off you go to your store with little to no supervision and support. They’ll try to tell you that this will give you more freedom, but if you need any advice or assistance, I hope your supervisor answered their phone more often then mine did. Next, you’re at the mercy of Home Depot whom by the way have their own reps whom are basically doing the same job as you, and the management will knee cap you to ensure they’re reps get the leads instead of you. Right time will cut your hours in half if you haven’t gotten a lead as fast as they want. They will take you off the clock in the middle of your shift. The representatives I sent to do estimates I learned after I left we’re going into business for themselves costing me at least $600 in commissions. I found this out because RTHS was kicked out of my Home Depot because of this a few weeks after I left. I guess the main point of this is not to say right time is horrible but the lack of supervision and support means your pretty much going to be figuring out how to sell their products on your own.
