Pros

The base pay is fair compared to market norms. The Houston office is nice and located in an area near a variety of restaurants and a local mall.

Cons

Benefits are horrible. Very unprofessional work environment. Upper-Management is trying to push this company off on the highest bidder - unfortunately they have not found one. Mid-level managers/directors are grossly under qualified, they are incompetent and can't manage their way out of a paper bag. The current managers were promoted because they were the last man or woman standing and could not find other employment. Favoritism and special treatment run rampant. If you are not in the right clique, do not expect to advance within this company. There is no value placed on good work ethics which has caused the majority of the top performers to leave the company. Changes are communicated mainly through office gossip. Inept operational practices leading to loss of profitability and huge layoffs causing employee distrust and a toxic environment. They attempt to calm the storm by providing lunch, beer and drinks, and party outings instead of finding solutions. The biggest issue; however, is the software. AccessData's products do not work. Summation has been ruined and Resolution1 is a joke.

Pros

Autonomy, fresh challenges, interesting space. Great place to work if you are self motivated and can manage your time well

Cons

Poor internal communication, benefits package is not compelling. Can be very challenging if you are not able to take ownership in tasks, it is a very busy company where it is expected that you will see something that needs done and do it, rather than wait to be told

Pros

This year the company invested heavily in the training of the sales staff allowing each member of the sales team to go through sandles sales school. This is been extremely effective for most of the sales individuals. The vision and direction of the company has been great. Combing digital forensics, cyber-security and electronic discovery into a single platform, ResolutionOne, (remains to be seen if it works) has been a momumental achievement that no organization has yet to achieve. Flagship products such as; FTK and MPE+ seem to be getting the job done from a technical and operating perspective. Lots of young professionals with volumes of aptitude in sales. They all have a great sense of comradery and enjoy helping one another. If you get bored you can play ping pong and nice recreational area.

Cons

The overall leadership of the company has been quite poor. Management infers one thing but in reality does/means another. Plans and ideas are constantly coming up without being thought through. Some of these have massive reprecussions and impact compensation packages. No answers given and no compenstation received for the financial impact. Internal communication is extremely poor however, they have been addressing this to an extent via internal weekly marketing updates. Not sure how effective that really is... If you are a newcomer, good luck find answers to simple questions. *Lots of the advanced products continue to have issues.*
