Pros

Incredibly hard working, motivated, fun group of people who all collaborate together for the good of the group. Everyone is so willing to drop what they are doing to help another team member out. Also, some of the smartest people I have come across. It is not only motivating, but inspiring to watch the company and its people operate! Management is not only easy to communicate with, but it is encouraged!

Pros

- Incredible employees. Everyone is brilliant in their domain and would be willing to drop what they're doing to help a coworker. We're all friends. - Good benefits - Work-life balance - Ability to contribute directly to the business' success - Great workspace that's casual and includes free snacks and drinks

Cons

- Growing pains (specifically around business processes) - Corporate culture and values are somewhat misaligned - The high-priority nature of most tasks/projects can be very stressful - For a relatively small company, the departments operate very separately from one another - No real onboarding for new employees

Pros

The culture is incredible - the entire team is hard-working, bright, curious, and hilarious. Great accessibility to leadership. Personal and professional growth is heavily encouraged. Super fast-growing, exciting, dynamic environment. Movement/ growth within the company.

Cons

The commute is ROUGH if you live in Raleigh. Working on American Tobacco is worth it, though. Start-up life lends itself to "there's always something to do" - work/life balance is respected here, but it's easy to come early and stay late. This is a pro for some of us, but others struggle with it.
