Pros

Nice work environment, and proper training. Most of all, fair pay for Customer Service. After leaving the pay has probably increased

Cons

The only part of the job that annoys all CSRs, the callers. You will service customers from all over the US including some US territories (rarely). You will also deal with other agents making small mistakes that turn into even bigger problems down the line. Lastly, the hours. The schedule I had made it very difficult to have a life outside of my work. This is due to Mandatory overtime. There are weeks were we have to work overtime and this is usually because of hurricanes, snowstorms, or some natural disaster that happened in the US. I worked 11am - 7pm to tagging on extra hours was very taxing for me. If you take this job, try and snag the morning shift.

Pros

I liked working at Agero because there was plenty of overtime available almost regularly. Working from home is convenient. I loved my supervisor, she was really caring and helpful.

Cons

At the beginning of the year there is a slow period so no overtime then. But you can have 40 hours minimum. You have options to go home early during that time, or skip days of work, and even take a whole week at the slowest point. Too many people will give you different answers to questions and it can be confusing.

Pros

very involved onboarding process made it easier to meet the team while starting remotely a lot of commitment to company culture and overall wellbeing supportive and friendly people strong commitment to client success and customer experience

Cons

the nature of the industry leads to seasonal spikes that add stress to certain departments, but the company really makes the effort to improve that experience and ensure people do not get burnt out
