Pros

Collaborative/flexible environment, travel benefits, diversity, work life balance- all a plus!

Cons

Finance carries way too much weight in operational decision making; usually costing co. more in the end

Pros

Home every night Optional charters where you do get to go out of town and have a layover Good pay You get paid while in training, about $330 a week.

Cons

6 month probation can be tough as the company seems to be a bit fire happy, management doesn’t seem to work for employees if something goes wrong but rather work against and try to get you fired that is where the union comes in handy, not sure if every airline is like this though.

Has its pros and cons

Pros

You get to come home every night (unless there’s an unforeseen issue) and it’s easy to manipulate your schedule so that you can get more hours/pay

Cons

They seem to be more concerned with adding new destinations, creating more bases, and buying more used planes than paying more for better quality planes and making sure current bases are in good order before trying to open more bases. They’re definitely penny pinchers. They’re doing very well financially, but you wouldn’t know it based on the conditions of the planes; cheap, basic signage in airports; very plain, unhelpful app; look and quality of flight attendant uniforms; the fact that a lot of bases use cheap outside companies to be their counter/gate agents and rampers, and a lot of them look professional; and so many other factors.
