Pros

There are no pros to working for Alorica.

Cons

The culture is absolutely toxic and abusive. I was required to work 60+ hours a week and not allowed to take time off. I was once forced to remain on a conference call, actively engaged for 24+ hours. After politely and professionally correcting a member of senior leadership I became a target for retaliation. I managed a team of ten people who were tasked with completing redundant reports that none of their peers on other teams were asked to complete, this individual began 'sitting in' on my subordinates calls with dedicated clients and damaging their relationships. They also talked poorly about me and my subordinates to sales staff who we regularly partnered with. When I reported the retaliation, I was written up and subsequently fired for fighting back against the formal write up. Honestly they did me a favor. After 5 years of abuse, I was free. Turns out life is worth living when you aren't constantly the target of a smear campaign or being forced to work 24+ hours straight with no breaks. They even tried to block my unemployment claim arguing I'd been fired with cause which I disputed in court and won. I should have sued them (others who were fired under similar circumference and for the same reason did sue and won) but I chose not to due to my extremely bad mental health state as a result of the horrific conditions.

Pros

They hire quickly when they are in need and it is an great steady paycheck for people with customer service experience.

Cons

Management was young and highly unprofessional especially during confilcts. They resolution to most issues was to speak to you as if they were on the streets of the ghetto with profane language. They told the employees any personal issues you had with trainers, other employees or things you would like to see change at the company to come to them in with confidence your conversations will private. One person made an compliant about an trainer and other employees who constantly disrupted our class. HR immediately told the name of the girl that did the complaint to the trainer and other employees which caused almost a fist fight to happen at work. There were multiple fist fights and almost fist fights because of the unprofessionalism the management and the overall hostile environment. The systems they use appeared outdated from 1997 and was to complex to use based on my 10 years of experience in Tech, customer service.
