Pros

The only pro was that I was left alone. It’s very much a sink or swim job with little to no direction from management.

Cons

I don’t even know where to start other than the fact that the CEO is a complete fraud. Just listening to his quarterly shareholders calls makes me cringe. He lies about how much revenue top performing reps bring in and about why employee retention is so horrendous. It’s because us reps are sick and tired of dealing with billing issue after billing issue and we have run out of clinics to visit. On top of that, they claim to take care of ALL PATIENTS IN PAIN. Well, except that if you get a prescription for a Medicare or Medicaid patient, don’t expect that patient to get a phone calls. How in the world can you call yourself a a pain mgmt company, if you can’t take care of MEDICARE patients? Is this some sort of joke?? I legitimately don’t understand how this company hasn’t been federally investigated for all of the lies the CEO/Thomas Sandgaard tells shareholders. On top of that, not only can he not retain low level employees, he can’t even keep his senior managers. Since starting over a year ago, we have have gone through more senior managements than most companies go through in decades.

Hi - thanks for the review! Clearly, your experience with Zynex was not pleasant, and we apologize for that. There are a lot of untrue claims in your review, and I'd like to bring a couple into focus. First, all patients get a call from our 5-Star Patient Enrollment team (including Medicare patients), and all patients have a Billing team entirely focused on getting them the best coverage possible. Yes, including Medicare patients! Even though Medicare chooses not to cover as much of our pain management products as other commercial insurances, all patients in need of pain management get the same high standard of care. We can also ensure you our CEO is not lying to shareholders. Best of luck in the future - thanks for being a part of our team and our mission!

Pros

foot in the door to medical device, decent base salary, benefits, mileage reimbursement

Cons

Where do I begin. Zynex has a massive issue when it comes to over billing patients. (As someone who used to work for insurance company) they do not pre authorize meaning they’ll ship the device BEFORE a patient knows if it’s approved or not. Their is a lack of transparency about monthly supplies. They will end up getting a bill months later with denials and owe not only the device but hundreds of extra dollars on supplies as well. Even had a hospital tell me never to push that product ever again, because they ran into so many issues. You also have a 1200 budget and that all has to be paid out of pocket before you get reimbursed a month later. Paying that much money out of pocket is ridiculous. Not once have we ever had a good reason as to why we can’t get a debit card. Every big medical device company has one?!?! In my opinion work here for 6-12 months at most and go find an ethical company to work for. If you still don’t believe what I have posted look up the Ceo and how he has been sued by insurance companies for over billing and lying about the company stock. They also claim to work for all insurances but we don’t count Medicare/Medicaid for quota. Guess you don’t matter to Zynex if your old or poor.

Hi! You've clearly had a very poor experience with Zynex, and it seems mostly unrelated to your position. I won't respond to all of the claims you're making, but will say that helping patients in pain is the driving force behind all we do. We would also encourage all potential applicants to do research on our founder and CEO, Thomas Sandgaard. You won't find anything regarding being sued over billing or lying about the company stock, but may find quite a bit about the Sandgaard Foundation, an organization Thomas founded that is committed to stopping the opioid crisis. In any case, thank you for continuing to help patients in pain, reviewer. Best of luck in the field!

Pros

Writing this review because each employee was offered an Amazon gift card if they left a review! Really makes you question the legitimacy of what you are reading! It’s a very easy job any person could do it. There are free meals daily and nice treats certain weeks. Pay is okay benefits are not the best but okay

Cons

It is an incredibly boring job. It is repetitive and will leave you drained from a day of nothing but talking to patients and staring at a screen all day reading the same script. They refuse to allow work from home which is ridiculous. They claim it’s for HIPAA but that’s a lie as other companies can do so. They refuse to listen to their employees wants! If you take a sick day but don’t have PTO they say you are “required” to make it up. It is my time and my pay and if I’m sick I do not owe an explanation. Also asked for very simple help such as moving my desk to a better sunnier spot and was denied and was told to just try to be happier.

We're glad to hear that you find the job easy and appreciate the free meals and treats. Offering an Amazon gift card for reviews is part of our effort to encourage open communication and gather feedback from our team. It’s important to note that this incentive was given regardless of whether the review was positive or negative, as we genuinely want to hear from our employees to improve the workplace. We understand that the job can feel repetitive and challenging, and we’re always looking for ways to make it more engaging. While work from home is restricted due to HIPAA compliance, we are continuously exploring options to enhance flexibility. Regarding sick days and PTO, we aim to balance company policy with employee well-being and have a leadership task force assigned to explore different ways to enhance our existing PTO policy. Your feedback about workspace adjustments and the emphasis on small talk for advancement is noted, and we will address these concerns to foster a more supportive environment. Your comments about managerial behavior will be investigated and we will ensure that feedback and advancement criteria are fair and based on the quality of work.
