Pros

Remote employment work from home, decent money, paid hourly plus commission (structured to be very little commission unless you hit really high amounts only a couple people hit that are fed sales and top tier leads), good benefits, insurance and even pet insurance

Cons

have to be in all day zoom with others making sales calls all day 5 days a week. they intentionally cycle 99% of sales people out within about 3-6 months. Each hiring group starts with about 30-40 people every few weeks and maybe 10-15 make it through training, then once on your team your sales quota ramps up steadily each week until they are almost completely unobtainable for anyone not chosen to get all the high end leads and house deals and they force people out steadily with fresh rotation always taking their place, each team manager does multiple interviews each day to steadily replace the sales people who finally quit or are forced out. you have to call small business owners all day every day, most of which have been called non stop for quite awhile, most wont even answer anymore even with rotating phone numbers used to call them because they are harrassed non-stop by both angi ads and angi leads (which is home advisor rebranded under Angi and they are horrible and destroyed angi's repetition, the service offered by Angi is not good anymore, it works somewhat for some but most businesses that do sign up cancel pretty quickly once they realize just how bad the service has gotten. Ever since IAC bought Angi and took over it's went way way way downhill, they trick small business owners into a 1 year contract and don't do a fraction of what they are promising, they don't care they just want to get as much out of as many people as they can and keep them paying with empty promises until people close their banking/credit card account and refuse to pay the monthly fee anymore, its really sad

Angi Response

Thank you for sharing your Angi sales experience with others. We strive to provide comprehensive benefits and compensation so our Sales teams can build meaningful careers here. Our sales representatives are important to our business and lead the way in showcasing our brand to potential partners externally. Many sales roles require engaging daily with partners who have expressed interest in Angi's services in the past. While some leads are warmer than others, each team member is provided the same requirements in order to obtain those warmer leads. It is important to us to provide avenues for continued growth here which includes hiring (and retaining) our amazing talent. We encourage you to reach out to your direct supervisor or training lead relating to questions around lead distribution or additional tools they can share with you for your success here. We appreciate your review! - Tom Cheatham, SVP Sales Strategy
