Very unprofessional performance review system, very UNFAIR ratings, if you rate yourself different from your boss, your final score will be greatly penalized. If you are lucky enough to rate yourself similar to your boss, HR will adjust your boss rating and you will get the same low score. Basically the HR and management are manipulating the ratings and promotions of employees. As a result, good employees pissed off every year every time when it came to review.

* Unstructured work environment. Constant mixed signals from management team regarding job expectation. * Lack of leadership - Most people treat it as simply a job, people in positions of power act as if they have no power or say. * Doesn't seem to matter if you finish projects on time, managers will give more work to those who are productive with little to no acknowledgement. * Unproductive employee can get by by just updating managers as to the problem that they ran into and the reason why they couldn't get the problem solved. No actual problem solving has to take place. * Lack of accountability - Job Functions are not very well defined and will change constantly. * Little to no mid level engineering talent (Good engineers quit bad/indifferent/visa needing engineers stay). Every project must be tacked with little to no support, great for learning but unsustainable in the long run. *Information only flows between middle management and Top management. Engineers are expected to follow management obediently. This is very troubling as Engineering is a decision making role.
