Pros

Very competitive base salary and benefits package. Amazing work/life balance. The staff that I interacted with was very talented and easy to work with.

Cons

Extremely high turnover across the company. While the market is red hot at the moment, the inability to retain talent is telling. Career growth / advancement opportunities are limited or non-existent and performance evaluations (when they occur) are incredibly informal. Even when they do occur they don't account for much. No formalized raise and/or bonus structure. There is a general lack of ownership & understanding of the product. It isn't uncommon for outage calls to consume 15+ people from most teams trying to determine who owns the problem, steps for resolution, etc. It isn't terrible, but there is a certain level of micromanagement occurring that can be annoying. Teams are extremely siloed and there isn't an effective strategy in place to communicate across the teams for things like over-arching code changes, changes to best practices / patterns, and other things like that. There is a bunch of "old guard" spread out across the organization so making changes to "how things are done here" can be challenging. The company goal is to "grow as big as possible" which isn't very inspiring . Leadership is extremely dialed in to the Glassdoor score and incentivizes staff to post favorable reviews which you can see if you compare the Nov/Dec 2021 reviews to the rest of the reviews in 2021.

We continue to service our Customers at the highest level and that is because of the Employees at Autosoft! We always encourage open and balanced dialogue from all of our employees: open door policy, engagement surveys, pulse surveys, focus groups and in some cases even glassdoor and many other platforms. Should you be interested in having a conversation we would love to hear your feedback and perspective on what/how we can improve, please give us a call. We know we can get better, we believe we are improving every day, hand in hand with our people. If we don’t hear from you, thank you for the feedback, we will incorporate the data points into our feedback loop for continuous improvement.

Pros

Wellness perks Healthy snacks in the office all the time

Cons

If you recognize the words “24 months” then you know you’ve worked for Autosoft. That’s all that’s been said for several years. Twenty four months is long gone and still no product. This new “product” that is supposed to be coming out supposedly in 2020 will not turn this company around. Having a DMS that is beyond old has shaped what dealerships think of Autosoft. They claim that it will have the only new DMS system within its’ competitors within the last 10 years which is not true at all. Obviously who claimed this doesn’t know anything about the competitors. The goal is to gain dealerships every year not lose them which has happened for 2018. Sales is struggling because the software is so old. A change should have been made 10 years ago. Support is a disaster in itself. Employees are leaving faster than ever. Never should support employees work hard to service the customers while support managers are standing around talking and there are calls waiting in the Que. Make the managers take calls. If you pride yourself in great customer service then act like it. Just cause they are managers doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have to take calls especially when customers are waiting to get their call answered. Stop promoting employees because they are buddy with another manager or came from the same company before. Seniority is not always the best way to go about it but employees that have several years of Autosoft experience should be getting considered more than someone who just started.

Thank you for your feedback – there are big changes that are currently happening at Autosoft. We released six new products in the past year and we continuously release new features and products as we continue toward completing the new product platform. Releasing new products comes with excitement – but also presents new challenges across the company and requires our employees to learn and adapt. Autosoft is recognized in the industry as one of the most recommended DMS providers, providing fast and friendly support to our customers. Autosoft is the DrivingSales all-time Highest Rated award winner, and winner of four Stevie Awards for Customer Service Excellence. Managers are in place to guide and coach their teams, and ensure that our customers are receiving the highest quality support from every team member. They also ensure we maintain our high expectations and KPIs within the support call center. We continue to set the bar higher every year, and the goals will continue to be more challenging every year, driving the business forward to continue growth. Autosoft is a great place to work, for those who thrive on challenging work and high expectations.

Thank you for acknowledging the many great contributors at Autosoft. We have a talented team that I’m proud to work alongside every day. It’s disappointing Glassdoor allows the same IP address for years to post negative fake reviews. I do want to address a few of your comments. First, reviews on Glassdoor are never forced and the team is getting extremely frustrated with the fake reviews written by you undermining our success. Team members are encouraged to share their experiences openly, and I appreciate everyone who takes the time to provide feedback, positive or critical. Your accusations of me pressuring employees to leave reviews are without merit and not who I am as a person. Their voices are just as valid as yours, and they do it willingly. It’s clear from your repeated posts that you were hurt for years, and I’m truly sorry your experience at Autosoft left you feeling that way. But at some point, I have to ask, why continue to come back and post again and again? Humbly, I encourage you to focus your energy on an industry or company that better fits your values and goals. As for us, we know we’re not perfect, but we are moving in the right direction. It’s an exciting time at Autosoft! Our team is collaborating, our technology is evolving, and our focus remains on serving our dealer clients and partners with excellence. I’m grateful to the people here who believe in that mission and are helping us shape the future together. I wish you the best wherever your career takes you. Anthony Belcher
