Pros

I like working here because there are so many opportunities to grow and learn new things. They encourage me to grow as a professional by taking classes and getting certified in software I am using. Also, people are generally pretty kind and willing to help.

Cons

I would say that the company is growing at a very rapid rate and that comes with growing pains. Organizationally, they are working on improving documentation standards and communication across teams.

The best part of working at Axle is my co-workers. Axle does a great job of hiring highly qualified and personable people. I've never met such a genuinely nice and supportive group of people.

Cons

There are pains that go along with every company that grows at a very fast rate. Axle is working hard to automate business processes and establish more structure.

Pros

I find it hard to believe these are the only pros we have. Remote friendly, which is a BIG benefit (from what I've heard, the company started to go fully remote after 2020). Flexible working hours.

Cons

Compensation is the worst (you can hardly compare title and salary with the market). No matter how good you are, raises always need executive approval (yes, no joke). People talk about upper management being disqualified all the time in the company. People always say they only stay for short-term. It is definitely not a company worth staying in or growing in. A small group of people hold a huge amount of power and tightly control low salaries.
