I really enjoy working at Axle! The employees are nice and management is great - they really make you feel part of the team. The benefits are really good (healthcare plans offered are exceptional). It's a strong growing company so there is plenty of opportunities grow!

Pros

Flexible work/life balance. Workload and sprint capacities are relaxed (as government contracting usually goes) since there are more politics behind approval and movement on projects. Health benefits are somewhat decent.

Cons

Salary is hot garbage, the company does not pay competently. There's hardly any room to grow into higher rolls and "climb the ladder" here. Business and Management side is horrendous with communicating high-level activity to technical team members.

The company has grown significantly since I started. - Company is growing so there are many great opportunities for career growth - Culture and people are amazing. I enjoy collaborating with different teams on different challenging projects - Strong and caring leadership - Generous benefits - Opportunities for remote work I highly recommend Axle Informatics .

Axle offers a wide range of support providing open task orders.

Cons

Contractors are often removed from task orders without justification. Benefits are not carried through to the end of the month and expire the same day the task order ends.

Easy/Fast to get hired. Insane amounts of PTO/sick leave, 100% of benefits paid for medical, dental, vision for my entire family.

Cons

It's impossible to advance when you're a contractor. Also no paid maternity leave.

Benefits, salary and NIH experience.

Cons

Management does not know what they're doing. Hostile work environment. No training or set sops. The company cares only about the contractors, and the money they bring into the company. Just don't do it. I hated my time here and was berated, insulted, and treated less than while working here. I'm surprised they don't have a lawsuit on their backs yet.
