Top Notch and Down to Earth Company

Pros

From top to bottom the company genuinely cares about the employees and families, not just lip service to sell the company. The staff looks out for your growth and future from day one, ensuring that you are able to progress in your job field. The staff has a hard working and no nonsense business ethic that also creates a healthy work/ life balance. True teamwork and professionalism at all times, open and receptive to all. Everyone is passionate about the mission, supporting the Veterans, and supporting the communities and industries. I have not been able to find this type of compassion or leadership anywhere else.

If there were any Cons, I would list them. None exist!

Not only do we try to make BTS a company that strives to create a culture that sets our veterans up for success, but we are also very active in the veteran non-profit community having raised tens of thousands of dollars for initiatives such as The Headstrong Project. Pros

They found a great match for me. It seems like they might be using humans to read the resumes and have a close relationship with their clients! Within two days after forced to telework due to the pandemic, I was fully setup at my home office with extremely powerful computer. When I commented about wanting to learn a particular topic, they gave me a mentor POC. When the hardware situation changed during the pandemic, they responded instantly to accommodate the change. Compare this with my teammates who had to wait almost two months to get set up.

Cons

As soon as I get used to their online timecard system, they change it (3x in one year.) I think they may have a use-it-or-lose-it PTO policy.

Thank you for your comments. It is important to our leadership that we have a culture that allows us to be able to provide our team with the individual personal attention that each deserves, regardless of how large we grow. We want to ensure that all of our teammates are set of for success regardless of the current challenges due to pandemic, or whatever life may throw at them. To address the timecard system, we did change twice in one year, but only to set us up for success as a company as we transition our efforts to become a prime contractor. As we grow our infrastructure, we required more compliance and capability than our former accounting system provided and we appreciate you patience with the transition. We will not be changing again so feel free to get comfortable with the current processes!

Pros

Company leadership is genuinely committed to taking care of their deployed employees. Any email I sent to my manager back in the States was answered quickly and professionally. Our time off policy is better than the other companies on our contract. They really work to make us feel like we're part of the team.

Cons

None that I can think of.
