Pros

If you perform well they will treat you fairly. The company as a whole isn’t bad but stay away from parsipanny.

Cons

-extremely high turnover, 12 people were in and out the door on a ~15 person team in one year -negative work environment, the management allows high performers to walk all over everyone, creating a hostile environment. Weird to say but there was actual bullying going on making it feel like i was in high school. -very little remote flexibility; you can earn it however every other location at beacon hill has a hybrid schedule. Not motivating at all when you are trying to earn something when the rest of the company is given it. - extremely low base, 40k -leadership does nothing to make the office a comfortable environment to work in and will back negative behavior if it is coming from a high performer. -many times i had heard various slurs used within the office and felt very uncomfortable that this was being tolerated. - HR had been contacted about numerous of these events however sided with the high performers enforcing the negative environment for the sake that the company was making money. - extremely cliquey; group lunches purposely excluding memebers -you are treated poorly on a personal level if you are not performing

Pros

They pay was decent.

Cons

Unrealistic quotas. Back-stabbing get-ahead culture. They are more focus on tapping into your phones and recording call time and dials than actual starts. The place is run like a high-pressure, high-volume collections call center where you are shamed upon if you don't hit your quota daily.

Hello, Thank you for your candid feedback. We appreciate hearing directly from you. We pride ourselves on hiring the best staffing professionals in the industry, who practice the greatest degree of integrity and professionalism. We regret that your experience, at least thus far, has fallen short of this standard for you. That being said, we believe in our leadership and our direction as a company, which is encompassed by Staffing Industry Analysts naming us the #1 Best Staffing Firm to Work For in 2018. When comparing our reviews on Glassdoor to the other similarly-sized companies that were named to this list, we either meet or exceed our peers in every single metric measured (Overall Rating, Career Opportunities, Comp & Benefits, Culture & Values, Senior Leadership, and Work-Life Balance), as well as outperform the Glassdoor average. This holds true when you look at former employees, as well. Industry figures estimate that between 40-45% of recruiters leave the industry after nine months. The members of our recruiting and sales team have stayed with us, on average, for over three years, and about 1 in 5 have been with us more than five years. We recognize that making (and keeping) our company a great place to work is an ongoing process. It is important to investigate every individual’s feedback, and make improvements where we can do so. To that end, if there are further details of your situation that you would be willing to share with us, please consider sending us an email at contactus@beaconhillstaffing.com describing your situation. Thank you.

Pros

Very energetic office. It's a fast paced job that will keep you busy all day. This is a job for people right out of college where you will learn a lot about the job market. Fun Christmas party in Boston!

Cons

Terrible environment to work in. You will feel guilty taking your lunch, a holiday, or leaving before 7pm. No benefits for your first three months, plus commissions are low and take months to pay out. Definitely not for the experienced recruiter. Very high turn over and low morale. ZERO TRAINING. Selling the jobs they have makes you feel like a used car salesman and every "deal" is a battle.
