Pros

Fun mix of clinical and operational duties. Good benefits packages. You’re trusted to get your job done without micromanaging.

Cons

Organization is poor. Company growth occurs at an irresponsible rate. Low pay for high stress.

Pros

My specific center has amazing culture and great RBTs. They offer a lot of free CEUs (although I have not learned much from them). They provide Safety Care training and opportunities for career growth.

Cons

They tell you the expectation is 3.4 billable hours per day but it isn't. It's more like 5-6 billable hours per day. They asked me to take on 9-10 clients as a brand new BCBA within my first 5 months who already felt overwhelmed with 8 clients. The quarterly bonus is very difficult to attain due to unrealistic expectations. There is terrible communication between the intake team and the centers themselves. Intake will schedule multiple initial assessments in the same week or even the same day and you are expected to conduct them and complete the reports within 1 week while meeting supervision requirements with your current caseload. My specific area director is not helpful at all and makes you feel stupid in the way that he communicates with you. I stayed with this company after passing my exam thinking that I would be well-supported but I was very wrong and that has not been the case.
