Shuffling chairs on the deck of the Titanic

Pros

Remote position. Decent pay. Liked the people I worked with.

Cons

Was part of the 3rd, 4th or 5th round of layoffs (lost count from this year alone) obviously the CEO keeps acquiring companies for the revenue to add to the bottom line so that it looks like they are making their numbers to the shareholders. Can only do that for so long. Obviously getting ready to be acquired.

Barely staying afloat

Pros

Fully remote and great benefits. Decent pay.

Cons

Run for your life! Layoffs consistently twice a year or more. No career development. Focus on sales only. No one cares about operations or customers; only the numbers. Everyone is literally terrified when we will all be next! The company has created a huge culture of fear because of this. Bigtincan acquires new companies multiple times a year but then fires existing people to make room for it. Hiring for most departments has been halted for over a year. They let go of a lot of quality and knowledgeable people who have worked here for ten years or more; seemingly because they made too much money. People are doing multiple jobs even across departments without compensation.

Pros

The overall experience of working at Bigtincan lets you trauma bond with select individuals, who are truly great workers who do want to make the company better. However, no one in leadership actually listens to these people.

Cons

Very little diversity. I would say 85% of the company makes up of straight, white, men who do nothing but talk about golf. And unless you are part of those demographics, progress within the company is very slim. They only prioritize certain customers, and have no interest in improving the products. Then, they set unrealistically high goals so they don't have to pay anyone's full comission. Holiday bonuses and wage increases are not a thing. Layoffs every quarter, team internally is being weighed down with no other workers. Yet, they still manage to take a luxury trip after the fiscal year, Which is just a vacation for them, on top of the bonuses they all receive at the expense of employees they lay off. They acquire companies and then completely destroy what makes them great. ,
