Pros

- You will learn a lot and take ownership of many projects - This place oddly enough attracts good hardworking ppl, especially in support and customer success. - You may be paid well if you are anything other than a bdr. - If you hound your manager enough, you can get a promotion.

Cons

They are always hiring and it's not just because they are growing, they can't sustain their growth. There is ALWAYS turnover, especially in sales and CS. Every month I was there there was at least 1-2 ppl quitting at minimum. Retention is so bad and that's because the burnout is real. Notice how a lot of these reviews are from ppl who are currently working at the company for less than a year...that's because they have not realized the Bizzabo hampster wheel they are on that goes nowhere only demanding them to work harder and harder...New hires are encouraged to write reviews while still in probationary periods, they still in the honeymoon phase,... Other mentions... - Expect to be told when you can and can't take your vacation. - Those who rise up in the ranks have been there since day 1 and this is their only "professional" job experience....or they just flirt with everyone. You'll know when you see it. Favoritism is very much a real thing here. - HR is not helpful and favors the leadership team. They will only turn the tables on you to make it seem like you are in the wrong rather than step up to actually listen and ACT on your feedback. - Not all but most Managers lack proper training. Very often it feels like project planning is not a thing. Everything happens last minute with no proper direction. - Leadership has no other executive background so their methods will not be the norm. You'll be scratching your head a lot at what they say, - Expect to be slacked and emailed at all times of the day every day. Setting boundaries is looked down upon. - Expect to do more than what your job requires of you with no real incentives. We once asked for a few mental health days due to the chaos mid-2020 and got a big no. - The product itself is not all it's cracked up to be with so many tech issues. So you will feel like you are lying to customers often. - The CEO is nice but out of touch with what's going on within teams. The CMO or whatever his title is now ( changes all the time) will make it seem like he cares but lacks empathy for his team when its actually needed. - values are nice but really just for show and brainwashing.

It’s a Sinking Ship

Pros

It used to be completely fine years ago.

Cons

The co-founders and some of the extended leadership at this company are completely incompetent. They should be ashamed to even show their faces to the remaining employees and the tech industry as a whole. They are a complete joke. It is shocking how fast they drove this company into the ground. There is no one left to support customers. The entire department is essentially gone, how is that even possible? They have never prioritized this area of the business even though they claim to have customer centered organization. Everything they do is about optics, none of it is real. Even right now they are boasting online that they are leader in the Forrester Wave. In reality, they’ve dropped spots over the years and lost the number one and two rankings to the true powerhouses (Cvent and RainFocus) and are barely hanging on. Optics > Reality The product is broken at its core and one of the reasons the company fell apart in addition to unbelievably poor leadership choices. They are extremely slow by industry standards to introduce any new and relevant features. It goes without saying that if you’re looking to join this company, run don’t walk away. That goes for remaining employees as well. It’s a sinking ship.

Ignore any positive reviews, this place is a dumpster fire

Pros

Lower level employees and managers are capable and kind, had a great time working with them

Cons

- Management writes lying glowing glassdoor reviews to try and counteract the truthful ones, blaming it on layoffs and not their own gross mismanagement (I was not laid off, so don't let them blame this review on that!) - The entire C-Suite is a bunch of buddies who started this company straight out of school and have 0 other start up experience, and it shows BADLY. Initiatives are started and ended purely out of vanity with 0 market research or any focus on what actually matters to customers. For instance, one CSO they hired had too many ideas about how to fix their demand-gen, and wanted to change things to right the ship, but was fired after only joining a month earlier for stirring the pot too much . Eran/Alon need to quit and hand the business over to professionals who know how to grow a start up responsibly instead of splashing money on useless acquisitions like spending 3 million on a start up of 4 people whose only contribution was a clapping overlay onto live streams, or millions on two new offices right before laying off 70% of the workforce. Their head of sales is completely incompetent, using desperate phrases like "smash those square pegs into round holes" to tell salespeople to close more deals without any actionable help to actually make that happen. - CEO tried to spin a downround of $38 million after a $130 million raise as a positive thing, when it in pretty much made any stock grants worthless because insight partners now has a 6x clawback, so no one other than VC's is going to see a penny from any potential exit. - Product direction changed every month, adding new half baked features that no one wanted and barely worked instead of fixing the core product which had issues with it every single day. Trying to show it off to potential customers became a game of "avoid this days bug." This all culminated in a 3 day outage across the platform, breaking our SLA's and tanking any remaining credibility with clients. - After this huge outage, the C-suite apparently decided to just fire the ENTIRE CS and Account management org, and replace it with an outsourced team in Mexico - Sales literally never hit Quota the entirety of my time there, but despite that they kept expanding and expanding the sales team without any new pipeline, leading to many 0% quarters for reps, so if your in sales, stay away! - Marketing team was incompetent and employees in marketing churned every 3-6 months so there was never any unified messaging, but instead the C-Suite spent thousands if not millions on fancy events with existing customers to cozy up to them that resulted in absolutely 0 new revenue - Event space is stupid crowded, and in a race to the bottom, and Bizzabo's share of the pie is only going to decrease
