If a customer asks Brock to perform out of their already standard templates then the project takes a serious hit. Much of which can be caused by the high turnover rate for fresh out of school engineers and the senior leads having grown lazy and accustom to the "Brock Standard" they forget to engineer anything else or rather not bother. Hard work is overlooked and often not rewarded, you are gauged on your project success but if your management spent the money on wine, dinners and bad decisions then the engineers get the blunt of it being overworked and paid less to soften the blow of a mismanaged project. If you are an excellent engineer you will be placed on difficult projects to save them but not recognized for your work, if your are inept you are placed on easier projects and praised for success. This company is great to work for, just not working hard for. If you are planning on working here, just know that your salary would not be able to compete with many other jobs but if you are careful to avoid challenging projects and do your work well but not well enough to get noticed you will succeed.

Pay is below average, bad healthcare, I felt like I was forgotten about, lots of my fellow engineers did not follow basic safety like bypassing the safety panel for the disconnect on a 600V MSD
