Since the NetSuite acquisition, a lot has changed. Bronto's leadership has resisted a lot of it, but the malaise of a giant corporation that grew too fast is creeping in and pervading, corrupting everything about Bronto that was once good. It should be noted that the CEO that everyone loves, Joe Colopy, and his partner Chaz Felix are no longer with the company. So their Glassdoor ratings should not be considered here. Bronto as a company no longer exists. You should be looking at NetSuite for reviews now. Budget cuts and bureaucracy have sucked the joy out of a lot of the work. The "play hard" is not gone yet by any means, but has been curtailed a good bit since NetSuite took over. Racial and gender diversity can be bad, much worse in some divisions than others (Engineering is mostly white men, marketing is mostly white women, etc). People With Disabilities aren't really seen, and it might have something to do with the office space not being PWD accessible. For a Durham company, the staff directory is remarkably caucasian. There is almost no such thing as a career path here. Unless you got in early, you might (if you're lucky) make it to the first line of management. Those who have made it that far tend to get stuck. There's been quite a lot of attrition since the acquisition. My star ratings take into account that this is NetSuite we're talking about here, not Bronto. Bronto doesn't exist anymore as anything more than a branch of NetSuite's org chart.
