Pros

The pay is good for the area, the company culture is fantastic, and the people are great to work with for the most part.

Cons

Training is kind of scattered, and the supervisory staff sometimes struggles to keep morale up when things are not going as well as they often do.

Pros

Unlimited potential! This company is all about promoting from within which gives the best, hardest working employees, something to continue to strive for and a reason to stick around and be proud of our company. The Culture at Build.com is awesome and continues to grow. I feel bad for people that don't work here...

Cons

If you ever have to move/leave/quit, good luck finding another company that is as much fun to work for! There are maybe a handful of companies that have the culture we do, the few that come to mind are Google & Zappos.

Pros

Build.com is the best company I have ever worked for, and I have worked for a few around Chico. They pay decently for the area, the benefits package is great, and there are quite a few fringe benefits such as employee parties, free food days, and more rewards for reaching goals. They really try to take care of their employees, which is something all of my previous jobs have not done. If you work hard, are ambitious, and have a vision that aligns with company goals, you might very well find yourself champion of that idea. Build gives its employees the opportunity to be heard and bring about change. I started at the bottom and worked my way up, and in the process have been allowed to mold and shape my own position. There is an amazing culture at Build, one that you would be hard pressed to find in another workplace in this area.

Cons

Like all newer companies, Build still has some growing pains. Life at Build can change quickly. If you are doing something one way today, it could be done a completely different way a week from now. It can be stressful to stay on top of everything. Also, the company is growing so quickly that we are running out of room, which, admittedly, is a good problem to have.
