I was gainfully employed and never would have left had I known - complete lack of culture no matter how hard they try - toxic work environment. I saw more finger pointing than teamwork - unrealistic deadlines that made the job so much more stressful than it needed to be - worked late nights / weekends / holidays - no one I worked with was happy. They only felt comfortable confiding that in me after I told them I was leaving - they ask employees to leave positive reviews so I felt inclined to leave this one

Integrity. There was a time at the end of my tenure when they didn’t pay me out a bonus that was in play to hit a certain revenue number as a company. I had a few deals that had closed that contributed to a pretty large commission check and definitely helped that company reach that goal, but that bonus wasn’t paid out to me. When I brought it up, they tried to act like they didn’t know what I was talking about. That was one sign that led me to leave.
