Casual and friendly atmosphere flexible scheduling easy work Great Management Staff

Cons

The only con for this job is the distance (travel time) to get there. I travel 3hr+ a day.

Pros

They really treated most employees well during the good times. Stock options went to managers. Outside salesmen made great money until the housing crash

Cons

They are mostly owned by a couple of investment firms that are pretty ruthless when it came to cutting people, taking out people with 25+ years with the company. Middle management is pretty good but senior management doesn't really care about anyone but their stock options.

Fair pay. Benefits are good. Management has an open door policy.

Cons

The building industry has experienced some downturns. A lot of difficult decisions have had to be made since 2008. Cut the company contribution to 401K.
