Challenging environment with terrible culture

Pros

* Some talented individuals who genuinely care about their work. * Interesting projects and opportunities for professional growth. * Competitive compensation. * Connect Weeks: Twice a year, the company organizes in-person gatherings for all employees. These are well-structured and valuable for relationship-building and collaboration.

Cons

* Hostile Work Environment: Meetings often involve open conflict, which leadership tolerates — or potentially likes. Expect constant churn in headcount and no job security - people are let go frequently. * Unrealistic Goals: Leadership frequently sets aggressive targets without a proven foundation, leading to missed expectations, unnecessary pressure, and frustration. * Favoritism & Inequity: Certain individuals, particularly those in leadership’s inner circle, continue to advance despite underperformance, while other leaders experience frequent turnover. * Limited Team Cohesion: Outside of Connect Weeks, there’s little effort to foster collaboration or a strong team culture. * Employee Feedback Concerns: Surveys are widely perceived as non-anonymous, discouraging honest input and trust in leadership.

Rudderless, cutthroat culture.

Pros

Compensation was competitive, but ultimately did not justify staying at a company that almost prided itself on being a corporate meat grinder.

Cons

The company drives out its best performers because its leadership team is rudderless, cutthroat, and arrogant. There is lip-service to a 'netflix-like' culture where they retain only high-performers, but a lot of the highest performers left of their own accord while I was there. The company has a core cadre of people who have been there since the beginning and they burn through any new hires with a pretty bizarre, toxic obsession with over-engineered KPIs, poor communication from leadership, and constantly shifting strategy that leaves different groups of the company looking to blame each other for failures constantly. Ridiculous unprofessional backstabbing behavior, total confusion on organizational priorities, and reckless lack of concern for clients is the rule, not the exception. I would legitimately caution anyone who doesn't have a concrete timeline and exit strategy from entertaining a stint here.

Pros

Decent salary, stand by their commitment to variable comp

Cons

Do not value their customers in practice, regardless of how much they say they do. Product is sub-par, releases are always creating more bugs. Insurance benefits are terrible and costly; however, the executive team believes they are up to par with other tech companies. THEY ARE NOT! Multiple rounds of layoffs, as well as additional job cuts in which they are not transparent about. Multiple restructures, leaving people behind in their roles. This has led to people “underachieving” even though they have not been given proper direction, guidance, or goals.
