Its a paycheck, there is no upside.

Cons

Poor working conditions , they rely almost entirely on labor from India, Management does nothing but sit around and shops online and tries to figure out who’s left to layoff so they can increase their bonuses.

Pros

Great coworkers who truly care. Great employee recognition and established mentoring program. Remote work. High consumer focus. Established company values. Supervisors and Management work hard and are committed to their department. Great benefits. High ethical focus.

Cons

Aggressive department goals near impossible to meet. Many hours of OT needed from leaders and front line staff to meet day to day deadlines. When goals are met little to no recognition from executive leadership. Poor work life balance. High stress environment due to impossible targets and lean workforce. Multiple and frequent reorgs. Departments publicly singled in all employee meetings and then little to no recognition when improvements and goals are met. Many long term leaders in the department have left over the last year leaving front line staff uncertain.

Pros

My immediate team was knowledgeable and productive, super-smart, and an overall nice bunch of guys.

Cons

Most of my entire team was slowly let go, one-by-one, for poor decisions that the people firing us had made. This is not uncommon for engineering at Cambia, and I highly recommend steering clear.
